By using the website at redlandsdeckandfence.com or engaging Redlands Deck and Fence for any services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or engage our services. These Terms and Conditions apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access or use our website or services.
Redlands Deck and Fence provides residential deck building, fence installation, pergola construction, patio cover installation, and related outdoor structure services in Redlands, CA and surrounding Inland Empire communities. All services are subject to availability, site conditions, local permitting requirements, and the specific terms agreed to in a written contract between Redlands Deck and Fence and the customer.
Nothing on this website constitutes an offer to perform services. An agreement to perform services is only created when both parties have signed a written contract and Redlands Deck and Fence has confirmed the project schedule.
Any estimate or quote provided by Redlands Deck and Fence - whether verbal, written, or communicated through our website - is an estimate only and is subject to change based on final design decisions, site conditions discovered during construction, material cost changes, or changes requested by the customer after the contract is signed.
A written contract will specify the agreed scope of work, total price, payment schedule, and any conditions that may affect the final cost. Work beyond the agreed scope will be subject to a written change order signed by both parties before the additional work begins.
Project start dates are estimates and may be affected by permit approval timelines, weather, material availability, or unforeseen site conditions. Redlands Deck and Fence will communicate any schedule changes to the customer as soon as possible.
If a customer cancels a project after a contract has been signed, any costs already incurred by Redlands Deck and Fence - including permit fees, materials ordered, or design work completed - may be non-refundable and will be billed to the customer. Cancellation terms specific to each project are outlined in the signed contract.
Redlands Deck and Fence reserves the right to suspend or cancel work if site conditions make it unsafe to proceed, if permits are denied, or if payment obligations are not met according to the agreed schedule.
Payment terms for each project are specified in the signed written contract. In general, projects require a deposit before work begins, with progress payments tied to defined milestones, and a final payment due upon project completion and the customer's acceptance of the finished work.
All invoices are due on the date specified in the contract. Overdue payments may be subject to a late fee as described in the contract. Redlands Deck and Fence reserves the right to suspend work on any project where payment is overdue until the outstanding balance is resolved.
Accepted payment methods will be specified in the contract.
Redlands Deck and Fence will obtain required building permits for projects where a permit is required by the applicable jurisdiction. The cost of permits is either included in the project quote or itemized separately; this will be specified in the written contract.
The customer is responsible for disclosing any homeowners association (HOA) rules, deed restrictions, or easements that may affect the project before the contract is signed. Redlands Deck and Fence is not responsible for costs or delays resulting from HOA requirements that were not disclosed before the start of design or permitting.
Redlands Deck and Fence warrants its workmanship against defects for a period specified in the written contract. This warranty covers defects in construction directly caused by our work and does not cover damage from misuse, normal wear and tear, weather events, modifications made by the customer or third parties after project completion, or issues arising from pre-existing site conditions not identified during the project assessment.
Material warranties, where applicable, are provided by the manufacturer and are separate from our workmanship warranty. We will provide manufacturer warranty documentation upon project completion where relevant.
Except as expressly stated in the signed contract, Redlands Deck and Fence makes no other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Redlands Deck and Fence shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the services we provide or the use of our website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to any customer for claims arising from a specific project shall not exceed the total amount paid by that customer for the project in question.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for certain types of damages, so the above limitation may not apply in full in all cases.
